Little interactions. A lighter day.

  • A quick thought, captured. Link Apple Watch from Settings, then add a task with an optional due date or a reminder on the go. Quick day choices and a 12-hour clock make scheduling easier. Saved items wait safely on your watch until your iPhone can sync.
  • Active, at a glance. iPhone widgets show what is next and open a new task or reminder in one tap. Add capture shortcuts to your Lock Screen too.
  • Smooth as you type. Windows keeps background updates out of the way while you capture a thought or edit a task.
  • A quieter workspace. Simpler task cards and a full-width Settings screen, with calendars and file services tucked into collapsible Connections sections.
  • Room for the days ahead. Active looks ahead 72 hours along your work plan, accounting for remaining effort and available working time. On Fridays, it includes the weekend and all of Monday. Undated tasks stay Active; snoozes are respected. Other unfinished work rests in Resting.
  • Let go deliberately. Delete sits beside Save changes, with an Are you sure confirmation. Cancelling keeps your edits. Only the owner can delete a shared task for everyone.
  • Less setup, more momentum. Importance sets date firmness. Effort chooses a quick task, focused work or work over time, with an optional override.
  • Files join the story. Dated activity shows who added files, with previews beside the update. Add files offers On this device, Link cloud file and My uploads.
  • A little space of your own. Create an account with an email code, your name and an optional icon. No password to remember.
  • Pick a time quickly. iPhone uses a compact native time control with 15-minute steps. Apple Watch offers clear AM/PM choices.
  • Work, then return easily. Your active task stays close for a quick progress update.
  • Acknowledge and move on. Clear snooze, progress and completion feedback before the card closes.
  • Pass the next step. Shared progress offers a few seconds to hand back to a colleague.
  • Keep your context. Familiar file picking, clearer collaborators and completed tasks that look complete.

At your desk

On Windows, extract the complete ZIP into a folder and open Limmie Tasks.exe. On Mac, unzip and move Limmie Tasks.app to Applications. Sign in, then enable account sync.

Choose Work on it and the prompt closes, with a Working on card waiting in the dock. Slide to record progress and end the session. Snooze confirms its duration, completion gets a little celebration, and shared progress offers a brief chance to pass the task back. The dock opens smoothly on both Windows and Mac.

About these pilot packages

The Windows preview is not publisher-signed. The Mac preview is signed for bundle integrity and verified after extraction; it is not Apple-notarized. If macOS cannot verify the developer, use Apple’s opening instructions for this app. If it says the app is damaged, replace an older copy with this version and contact your preview organizer if the message persists.

Mac automatic quiet follows calendar meetings and your manual quiet setting. System Focus detection is not available yet. Physical Mac acceptance testing is still in progress.

iPhone with TestFlight

The standalone iPhone app is available to invited testers in TestFlight. Your preview organizer can add you to the group. Install Limmie Tasks, then sign in with the same email you use on desktop. TestFlight 0.25.23 (build 25) brings three clear importance levels, automatic calendar blocking for critical tasks and events, and pending invitations that stay visible across devices. Resend an unanswered invitation after 24 hours. It includes the Apple Watch connection fix. Capture tasks and reminders on your watch, with a clear retry if your iPhone does not reply. Add Active and quick capture widgets to your iPhone Home and Lock Screens. It also includes the Working on shortcut, progress acknowledgements, shared handoffs, and the Files grid.

Return to Working on from Home for a quick progress update. Tap a collaborator to pass the task or manage their place on it. Add files offers On this device, Link cloud file and My uploads. Choose On this device for the familiar file picker; Link cloud file keeps a reference to the original. Tap your initials to open Settings. Choose Account details for your profile, Connections for calendars and file services, or Apple Watch → Check connection to link your paired watch. Add Active, Add task or Add reminder from the iPhone widget gallery.

Set up once. Keep going.

In Connections, enable cloud calendars and choose the services you use. Calendar updates can continue while your computer is closed. Review proposed work before publishing it. Microsoft access currently uses the approved work organization.

Add a collaborator while creating a task, reminder or event. Existing Limmie accounts receive an in-app invitation; new collaborators receive email. After verifying the invited email, their invitation waits in the desktop bell inbox or iPhone Activity. Accept opens the shared task. Accept or ignore an invitation, or report and block unwanted invitations. The sender can see the outcome.
